On Saturday, April 29th, 2023, I was featured in the Saturday edition of the Kalgoorlie Miner’s lifestyle section. Deputy editor, Amber Lilley, wrote a lovely piece and got my story into the largest mining community in WA!
“Got time for an interview?”
I was sixteen days into a twenty-one-day swing. In the middle of a crane lift changing out a 150kW submersible pump and I had almost no phone reception. I only had ten minutes to spare for the interview; and that’s all it took. One conversation and a quick promo selfie later and I was back to work and soon to be featured in a newspaper with a 6,000-10,000 person daily readership and 66k follows on social media.
It just goes to show that if you put something out into the universe with everything you have, the universe will amplify that energy and assault you with opportunity!
